PCB Announces Prize Money for PSL 11; Champion Team to Receive $500,000

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced the prize money structure for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to private TV channel Samaa News, Mohsin Naqvi stated that starting from the next season, franchise teams will be rewarded with significantly higher prize money. The PSL 11 champion team will receive **$500,000**, while the runner-up will be awarded **$300,000**.
He added that **$200,000** will be awarded to the franchise demonstrating the best performance in cricket development. “Let’s take Pakistan cricket to new heights,” Naqvi said.
It is noteworthy that PSL Season 11 will feature **eight teams instead of six**. The auction for the two new teams is scheduled for **January 6**. Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Sialkot, Gilgit, and Muzaffarabad are among the potential new franchise cities.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer said the league is continuing to grow as a world-class T20 competition.
