Chief Secretary Balochistan Orders Immediate Merit-Based Recruitment for Vacant Posts

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily)** — A high-level meeting of the **Secretaries Committee** was held in **Quetta** on Monday (November 3) under the chairmanship of **Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakil Qadir Khan**. The meeting reviewed key administrative and developmental matters, including **online billing**, **social media projection of development projects**, the **file tracking system**, **Integrated Project Management System (IPMS)**, and measures to **accelerate ongoing development schemes**.
The meeting was attended by **Additional Chief Secretary (Development) Zahid Saleem**, **Chairman CMIT Muhammad Ali Kakar**, and all departmental secretaries.
Addressing the session, the Chief Secretary said that the **provincial government** is committed to restoring public trust by ensuring the prompt resolution of issues and the provision of essential services in **health, education, employment, and sanitation sectors**.
He directed the **Planning and Development Department’s Monitoring and Evaluation section** to become fully functional so that reform measures can be taken based on performance reports. He also instructed officials to make **online billing systems** fully operational, ensure **payments through the SAP system**, strengthen the **file tracking mechanism**, and address **public complaints on the Pakistan Citizen Portal** without delay.
Chief Secretary Shakil Qadir Khan further emphasized **transparent recruitment on all vacant government posts** and **timely completion of development projects**. He stated that these **serious and result-oriented efforts** by the government will contribute to the **province’s progress** and **improve the lives of ordinary citizens**.
