Former PTI Leader Mahmood Molvi Offers to Act as Mediator Between Imran Khan and Establishment

LAHORE:Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader **Mahmood Molvi** has expressed his willingness to play a **mediating role between Imran Khan and the establishment** to help ease the current political tensions in the country.

In a statement, Molvi revealed that he, along with **Imran Ismail** and **Fawad Chaudhry**, had a **detailed and positive meeting with Shah Mahmood Qureshi**, as well as several other PTI leaders and workers. He said the purpose of these meetings was to **reduce the political temperature and polarization** prevailing in the country.

> “We all agree that Pakistan today needs political stability, not confrontation,” Molvi stated. “Our collective aim is to create an effective channel of communication between Imran Khan and the establishment to pave the way for dialogue and reconciliation.”

Mahmood Molvi further added that **certain elements are deliberately trying to promote chaos and confrontation**, as they do not want the country to progress.

> “These individuals wish to see Imran Khan remain behind bars to sustain political unrest,” he said. “But we firmly believe that Pakistan’s future lies in **dialogue, reconciliation, and national consensus**. All stakeholders must unite to steer the country toward stability and development.”
