Man Sentenced to Six Years in Prison for Smuggling iPhones Worth Over Rs30 Million in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: A special court for anti-smuggling and customs crimes has sentenced a man, Zahoor, to **six years in prison** for smuggling **60 iPhones worth over Rs31.4 million** into Pakistan.

The verdict was announced by **Judge Shabana Rasalat**, who also ordered the **confiscation of all movable and immovable properties** owned by the convict. Additionally, the **60 sealed iPhones** recovered from the accused were ordered to be forfeited to the state.

According to case details, Zahoor was arrested last month at **Islamabad International Airport** while attempting to smuggle the high-value iPhones from Dubai into Pakistan.

Following the court’s decision, the convict was taken into custody from the courtroom and transferred to **Adiala Jail** to serve his sentence.
