Court Accepts Opposition Leader Omar Ayub’s Excusal Request in Parliament Attack Case
Islamabad:The court has approved the request for exemption from appearance in the National Assembly by opposition leader Omar Ayub in the cases related to the attack on Military Tower and siege incidents.
During the hearing on bail pleas in terrorism cases related to the Military Tower attack and siege incidents, the requests for interim bail were heard, and ATC Judge Khalid Arshad considered the requests.
During the hearing, PTI nominee and opposition leader Omar Ayub’s legal team submitted an excuse for his absence, stating that he was occupied in Islamabad High Court matters, making it impossible for him to appear before the court. The court accepted Omar Ayub’s one-day excuse request.
While approving Omar Ayub’s request, the court directed to ensure his presence at the next hearing.
