National Youth Summit in Quetta Faces Harsh Criticism Over Poor Management

Participants Outraged as Event Lacks Basic Facilities Despite Millions in Budget

Quetta (Daily Qudrat/Report: Khaliq Khushhal): The three-day *National Youth Summit 2025*, organized by the Balochistan Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, has come under heavy criticism for mismanagement and poor arrangements. Young participants from across the country voiced their frustration over the lack of basic facilities, questioning how millions of rupees allocated for the event were spent.

**Big Budget, Poor Execution**
According to sources, the provincial government allocated millions of rupees under the banner of promoting youth welfare and providing them with a platform for engagement. However, the on-ground situation painted a completely different picture. Participants complained about inadequate accommodation, substandard food, and disorganized transport arrangements, undermining the very purpose of the event.

Even some of the invited guests and favored attendees reportedly expressed disappointment over the chaotic management and lack of transparency in the use of funds. Critics argue that the event, meant to empower and inspire youth, instead highlighted the inefficiency and negligence of the organizing authorities.
