Karachi:A shocking case of child abuse surfaced in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, where a teacher was caught on CCTV footage physically assaulting a special needs student. The incident, which occurred on **September 26**, went viral on social media after the video was leaked.
Following public outrage, a case was registered on **October 2** under charges of physical abuse, filed by the **Sindh Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department**.
Authorities confirmed that the school management has **terminated the teacher’s services**, while police stated that the accused woman would be **arrested soon**.
