New RLNG Gas Connections Resume in Lahore, Applications Open

Lahore: In a major relief for gas consumers, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has resumed the issuance of new RLNG gas connections in the provincial capital. The company has officially started receiving applications, which can be submitted both online and at designated offices.

According to company sources, the fee for a normal connection has been set at Rs 23,500, while urgent connections will cost Rs 25,000. Connections will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, though priority will be given to applicants who opt for the urgent fee category.

An SNGPL spokesperson confirmed that surveys for new RLNG connections have begun, while over 3 million old pending applications remain active and have not been canceled. Gas connections will only be provided in areas where pipelines are already available.

Officials added that on the very first day, thousands of citizens submitted their applications online, reflecting the strong demand for new gas connections in Lahore.
