Dubai:Despite a six-wicket defeat against India in the Asia Cup Super Four stage, Pakistan opener **Sahibzada Farhan** expressed confidence that his team will bounce back and meet India again in the **final on September 28**.

In Sunday’s high-voltage clash, India successfully chased Pakistan’s **172-run target** with ease. Pakistan started strongly, reaching **93 for 1 in 9.3 overs**, largely due to Farhan’s brilliant knock of **58 runs off 45 balls**, before finishing at **171**.

Speaking ahead of Tuesday’s must-win clash against **Sri Lanka**, Farhan said:

> “We are confident we will defeat Sri Lanka and qualify for the final, where we’ll face India again.”

On his unique celebration after scoring his half-century, Farhan clarified:

> “I usually don’t celebrate after fifty. It just happened suddenly. I don’t care what people think.”

He also credited **Fakhar Zaman’s support at the other end** for boosting his confidence to play freely.

Following the heated Pakistan-India encounter, tensions between the two sides appeared to rise. In the first match, Indian players reportedly avoided traditional handshakes, and the strain continued. After Sunday’s match, Indian opener **Abhishek Sharma** remarked:

> “They (Pakistan players) were unnecessarily trying to provoke us. I didn’t like it. I answered with my bat.”

Pakistan captain **Salman Ali Agha** admitted his side lost momentum in the bowling powerplay:

> “Our batting was excellent, but they snatched the match from us during the powerplay with their batting.”

The **Asia Cup Final** will take place on **September 28 in Dubai**, with the **top two teams from the Super Four** advancing.
