Shots Fired Outside Disha Patani’s Bareilly Home; Goldy Brar–Rohit Godara Gang Claims Responsibility

Bareilly, India: Gunmen fired multiple rounds outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s family home in Bareilly in the early hours of Friday; no injuries were reported and the actress and her family are safe, police said. ([The Times of India][1])

Local authorities said two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire at the Civil Lines residence at around 3:30–4:30 a.m., discharging several rounds before fleeing the scene. A post circulated on social media soon after the incident, in which fugitive gangsters Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara claimed responsibility and framed the attack as retaliation for allegedly insulting remarks linked to spiritual figures — including Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj — reportedly made by Disha’s sister, Khushboo Patani.
