PM Shehbaz Praises CM Maryam Nawaz’s Flood Relief Efforts as Exemplary
Islamabad: Prime Minister **Shehbaz Sharif** has lauded Punjab Chief Minister **Maryam Nawaz** for her commendable efforts in leading **flood relief operations** across the province.
In a statement posted on social media platform **X (formerly Twitter)**, the Prime Minister also acknowledged the **tireless dedication** of the leadership in **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir**, calling their commitment “praiseworthy.”
PM Shehbaz stated that the **natural disaster** has brought immense challenges, yet the **resilience shown by farmers, laborers, women, and children** has been remarkable. “The people of Pakistan refuse to surrender in the face of adversity,” he emphasized.
The Prime Minister further added that he has directed **all relevant federal departments**, including the **National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA)** and the **Ministry of Climate Change**, to remain on **high alert** and extend **full support** in any emergency situation.
