CM Balochistan Praises CTD for Foiling Terror Plot in Hekalzai Yaro

QUETTA:Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has commended the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for its successful operation in Hekalzai Yaro, expressing satisfaction over the department’s timely action that thwarted a major terror plot and saved countless lives.

Speaking on the operation, CM Bugti stated that the terrorists killed in the encounter were involved in multiple planned terrorist activities, which were neutralized before execution. He hailed the CTD’s swift and effective response, calling it a significant achievement in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

“The CTD and other security agencies are playing a commendable role in establishing peace in Balochistan. Their sacrifices and dedication are the backbone of our fight for a secure province,” the chief minister said.

He reiterated that providing a peaceful environment to the people of Balochistan remains the government’s top priority. “All institutions are working in coordination to ensure peace and security across the province,” he added.

CM Bugti also lauded the support of the local population, stating that the people of Balochistan stand united with security forces against the menace of terrorism. He made it clear that actions for long-term peace will continue in every corner of the province and that no terrorist or their facilitator will be spared from the law.

“Public cooperation is the biggest strength in restoring peace,” he emphasized, “and with this unity, we are moving towards making Balochistan a peaceful, prosperous, and developed province.”
