Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri Hails Field Marshal Asim Munir’s Leadership, Calls Pakistan’s Future Secure

Islamabad/Quetta (Daily Qudrat) — Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights, Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri, congratulated Field Marshal General Asim Munir on his appointment and extension as Pakistan’s first Chief of Defence Forces.

In her congratulatory message, Senator Zehri described General Asim Munir as a national pride and a pillar of Pakistan’s security. She stated that his exceptional leadership has strengthened not only the country’s defense but also its economy, national stability, and unity. She called the timely appointment and extension a crucial decision for Pakistan’s security, defense strategy, and future stability.

Senator Zehri highlighted that under General Munir’s professional leadership, Pakistan has built a strong foundation to face internal and external challenges. She added that people and institutions across the country, including Balochistan, have full confidence in the Pakistan Armed Forces’ leadership, recognizing its vital role in national unity, peace, defense, and economic development.

She praised the Armed Forces’ outstanding performance under General Munir’s command, noting their successful defense against every act of aggression and the pride they bring to the nation. Senator Zehri also congratulated Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu on his two-year extension, emphasizing the Pakistan Air Force’s professionalism and successful operations under his command.

Senator Zehri concluded by asserting that Pakistan, under the leadership of Field Marshal General Asim Munir, continues to emerge as a strong Islamic welfare state, with every soldier defending the country’s borders confident in his leadership. She described General Munir’s tenure as Chief of Defence Forces as a historic milestone for national security and peace.
