Balochistan Home Department Warns Against Road Blockades, Assures Protection of Public Facilities

Quetta: The Balochistan Home Department has emphasized that **peaceful protest is the democratic right of every citizen**, but no one will be allowed to forcibly block roads or highways. Strict and immediate action will be taken against those disrupting the freedom of movement or daily life of citizens.
In an official statement, the department clarified that lawbreakers will not be tolerated, and those using force or violence to create hardships for the public will face stern consequences. Any attempt to challenge the writ of the state will invite **indiscriminate legal action**, while obstructing public facilities will be treated as a punishable offense under the law.
The department further stated that any attempt to interfere with federal subjects would also be met with **strict legal measures**. Airports, railway stations, highways, and all federal and provincial projects are being provided with foolproof security to prevent any untoward incident.
It was also assured that hospitals, public transport, fuel stations, and markets will remain fully functional. The closure of educational institutions or healthcare facilities will not be tolerated. Orders have been issued to ensure the presence of doctors and staff, keep ambulances on high alert, and maintain the availability of medicines.
The Home Department declared that those attempting to harm public peace will be considered as acting against the state and will be dealt with an iron hand. Citizens have been urged to **remain peaceful and avoid elements** trying to disrupt law and order.
