SC Returns Gandapur’s Plea to Meet Imran Khan, Cites Technical Objection

Islamabad:* The **Supreme Court of Pakistan** has returned the petition filed by **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur**, seeking permission to meet the **PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan**, citing procedural objections.
Gandapur had approached the apex court, naming the **federal and Punjab governments as respondents**, arguing that **despite court orders**, he has **not been allowed to meet Imran Khan**, who is currently incarcerated.
The petition emphasized that a **meeting with the party’s founding leader is crucial for internal consultations and decision-making**.
However, according to court sources, the **Supreme Court Registrar’s Office** returned the plea, **raising an objection** that the petition lacked a valid **Power of Attorney with Gandapur’s signature**, rendering it **inadmissible** in its current form.
Gandapur had requested the court to direct authorities to **facilitate his meeting with Imran Khan**, but the technical deficiency in the filing has delayed any formal hearing on the matter.
