Imran Khan Reports Blurred Vision, Medical Examination Request Filed in ATC

Rawalpindi: A request has been filed in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) for a medical examination of **PTI founder Imran Khan**, who is reportedly experiencing **blurred vision and eye pressure**.

The application was submitted by **Aleema Khan**, sister of Imran Khan, citing concerns over his deteriorating eye condition. According to the petition, Imran Khan’s personal physician last examined his eyes on **November 4, 2024**, and since then, his condition has worsened, with increasing pressure and blurred vision.

Aleema Khan expressed distrust in doctors working under the **federal and Punjab governments**, requesting that **Imran Khan’s personal doctor be included** in any medical board formed for his treatment.

The application further claimed that the PTI founder is being **deprived of basic rights** in Adiala Jail and urged the court to **direct the jail superintendent** to immediately constitute a medical board for his examination.

ATC Judge **Amjad Ali Shah** conducted a preliminary hearing and issued notices to the **Adiala Jail superintendent** and **prosecution**, seeking their responses by **August 29**.
