Reko Diq Mining Company Prioritizes Employment for Local Youth in Durbin Chah
Nokundi:Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC) has reaffirmed its commitment to prioritizing employment opportunities for the local population, especially youth from nearby villages such as Killi Durbin Chah. This was stated by Ali Dost Yalanzai, Community Engagement Manager at RDMC, during a visit to the village accompanied by General Manager Mr. Ryan Mitchell, HR Lead Inayatullah Kabdani, and the HR team of Capital Drilling.
Yalanzai emphasized that the company’s policy is to create sustainable solutions to unemployment and ensure that local communities are active partners in the region’s development. “We are working towards long-term solutions to address unemployment and want to involve local people in the journey of progress,” he said.
The visit, widely welcomed by the villagers, was seen as a genuine step toward employment generation and community upliftment. Representatives of Capital Drilling also acknowledged the importance of the local youth and confirmed that new employment opportunities will be created in the coming months. For this purpose, comprehensive data of eligible youth from Killi Durbin Chah has already been collected to ensure fair access to job openings.
Tribal and community leaders including Mohammad Kareem Sherzai, Shah Nazar Dagarzai, Malik Mahmood Mohammadzai, Syed Shay Basheer Syed Balanoshi, Mullah Tawakkal Khan Burhanzai, Ghulam Nabi Sherzai, Abdul Qadir Burhanzai, Jangi Khan Mishwani, and Malik Noor Ahmad Sherzai extended their heartfelt thanks to the RDMC and Capital Drilling officials.
