British Woman Claims to See Boris Johnson’s Face on Nectarine, Screams and Nearly Calls Exorcist

Gloucestershire, UK:A 53-year-old British woman was left terrified after claiming she saw the face of former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson mysteriously appear on a nectarine from her fruit bowl.

According to *The Daily Star*, Bridget Holford was searching for a snack on July 6 when she made the eerie discovery. She was on the phone with a friend, discussing Boris Johnson’s wife, Carrie Johnson, when she suddenly noticed what appeared to be the former PM’s face staring back at her from the fruit.

“As soon as I said ‘Boris,’ I glanced at the nectarine and saw what looked like his face—two eyes, a nose, a mouth, and his unmistakable messy golden hair,” said Holford. “I screamed and dropped the fruit on the kitchen table.”

Holford, who lives in Gloucestershire, said the face looked identical to a front-facing photo of Boris Johnson. “It was like he was glaring at me,” she added.

The incident took an even more bizarre turn when the fruit rolled on the table and the face allegedly disappeared. “I dropped my phone in shock. My friend thought something terrible had happened to me,” Holford recounted.

The spooky encounter left her so shaken that she debated whether to eat the fruit, put it in the fridge, or call a spiritual healer. “I genuinely considered calling an exorcist,” she admitted, though she eventually decided against it.

While the incident has sparked laughter and curiosity online, some are calling it a case of pareidolia—a psychological phenomenon where people perceive familiar patterns, like faces, in random objects.

Still, Holford insists the resemblance was uncanny. “I’ve never been a big fan of Boris, but I never thought he’d turn up in my fruit bowl.”
