Japan Woman Marries AI Partner in Unique Ceremony

**Islamabad:** In an unusual event that has drawn global attention, a 32-year-old Japanese woman has “married” an AI character she created herself.
According to international media reports, the AI partner was designed by the woman using chatbot technology. The wedding ceremony was conducted in a traditional manner, with the bride, Yuzina Nogu, wearing a white dress and augmented reality (AR) glasses, while the groom existed only on a digital screen.
The ceremony took place at her home and followed the rituals of a conventional wedding. Yuzina stated that she had been communicating with the AI partner for a long time, and over time, their interactions evolved into an emotional bond.
Although the marriage is not legally recognized in Japan, the event has sparked discussions about modern technology, loneliness, and the emotional connections humans can form with AI. Experts note that such occurrences highlight the rapidly growing role of artificial intelligence in human life and relationships.
