PML-N to Make Samar Haroon Bilour Member of National Assembly After Joining Party

Islamabad:In a strategic political move, the ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to induct Samar Haroon Bilour as a Member of the National Assembly (MNA), following her recent departure from the Awami National Party (ANP).
According to party sources, the decision was finalized after high-level consultations within PML-N leadership. Ikhtiar Wali, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Information and Broadcasting, confirmed the development, stating that one assembly seat has been allocated for Samar Bilour and another for the wife of MPA Jamshed Mehmand.
Samar Bilour announced her formal inclusion in PML-N during a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, where Federal Minister Amir Muqam was also present.
Welcoming her to the party, PM Shehbaz Sharif said Samar’s inclusion would strengthen PML-N in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the party aims to expand its political footprint ahead of upcoming elections.
