Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Claims Divine Help in Pakistan-India Conflict, Highlights Military Role in Iran-Israel Ceasefire

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has made a remarkable statement claiming that divine help played a role during the war with India. He also suggested that military involvement was behind the Iran-Israel ceasefire and Iran’s apparent success.
Naqvi was speaking at a key meeting on maintaining law and order during Muharram, which was chaired by him in Islamabad. The meeting included State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, and other important religious figures.
During the meeting, Naqvi expressed that religious scholars had always played a significant role in maintaining peace and harmony. He advised Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad to bring together people from all schools of thought, stressing the theme of unity without compromising on one’s own beliefs or interfering with others.
Regarding the Pakistan-India conflict, Naqvi claimed that “divine help” had assisted Pakistan during the war. He mentioned that during the conflict, Pakistani missiles were fired at India, but some missiles missed their intended targets. Naqvi revealed that there were concerns about civilian casualties, but the missiles ended up hitting India’s largest oil depot, preventing major loss of life. He also recounted an incident where India fired approximately 11 missiles at a Pakistani base, which housed both aircraft and personnel. Fortunately, he claimed, no casualties occurred.
Naqvi further asserted that despite the threat of missile attacks, Pakistan’s military leadership, including the Army Chief, had made it clear that any aggression by India would come at a higher cost for them.
Turning to the issue of Iran and Israel, Naqvi said that the role of Prime Minister Imran Khan in brokering a ceasefire between Iran and Israel was significant. He claimed that the apparent success of Iran in the conflict was also attributed to military influence, stressing that the involvement of Pakistan’s armed forces played a crucial part in achieving the ceasefire.
The Minister expressed pride in the efforts made by the Prime Minister in convincing global leaders, adding that the country’s role in these global matters was a matter of national pride.
