Despite Political Support and Promotions, Only 200 Students Enrolled in Al-Qadir University in Four Years

Islamabad:Despite strong political backing and extensive promotion, Al-Qadir University, a project closely associated with former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, has failed to attract significant enrollment. In the four years since its establishment, only 200 students have enrolled in the university, raising questions about the project’s viability.

The university has also become a source of legal trouble for Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. The couple faces legal challenges related to the 190 million-pound case, involving allegations of abuse of power and financial irregularities. These legal issues could potentially lead to jail time for the couple in the future.

It is important to note that the 190 million-pound case, which is linked to the university, has been postponed three times. The accountability court judge has set the date for the final verdict on January 17, 2025, which will determine the legal consequences for the accused.
