Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff Meet Turkish President at OIC Summit, Condemn Israeli Aggression
Message of Warm Regards from Pakistani Prime Minister to President Erdogan

Istanbul: A significant meeting took place between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the ongoing 51st session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers’ Council in Istanbul.
According to Express News, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, accompanied by Field Marshal Asim Munir, conveyed a message of best wishes and warmth from Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to President Erdogan. They emphasized the importance of the strong and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey.
During the meeting, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening and strengthening bilateral cooperation. They also strongly condemned Israel’s open violations of international law through its attacks, expressing full support for Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its right to defend itself under the United Nations Charter.
Both sides agreed to continue diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and called on the international community to play an active role in restoring peace and stability in the region.
The leaders stressed the urgent need to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and accelerate efforts to provide uninterrupted humanitarian aid to the besieged Palestinian population.
Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister congratulated President Erdogan on the successful hosting of the OIC Foreign Ministers’ meeting and presented him with an award recognizing his leadership from the OIC Youth Forum.
