13-Year-Old Girl Killed in Landmine Blast in Upper South Waziristan

Wana: A 13-year-old girl lost her life in a tragic landmine explosion in Upper South Waziristan, officials confirmed.
According to the district administration, the incident occurred yesterday in the Mandonkai area, where the young girl accidentally stepped on a landmine near her home in the mountains, resulting in a fatal blast. She died on the spot.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Fazal Wadud expressed deep sorrow over the incident, stating that the district administration stands in solidarity with the grieving family during this difficult time.
Authorities have called for increased efforts to clear the region of unexploded landmines to prevent further tragedies.
