Qatar Emir Congratulates Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Successful Diplomacy
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during which the Emir warmly congratulated the Pakistani leadership on its successful diplomatic efforts that led to a ceasefire between Iran and the United States and paved the way for upcoming negotiations.

Expressing appreciation for Qatar’s acknowledgment of Pakistan’s sincere mediation, Prime Minister Sharif praised the Emir’s wisdom and prudence, noting that Qatar maintained exemplary restraint during six weeks of ongoing regional tensions.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with Qatar and its people, assuring that both countries will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder. Both leaders expressed hope that their joint efforts would restore peace across the region soon.
