Pakistan Names Indian-Backed Terrorist Groups in New Directive: “Fitna-e-Hindustan

Islamabad:In a significant development, the Pakistani government has issued instructions to all ministries and government departments to refer to active banned and terrorist organizations in Balochistan as “Fitna-e-Hindustan.” This decision was made after the emergence of undeniable evidence linking these groups with India.

Security sources and official statements have previously unveiled India’s role in supporting terrorism in Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan. These revelations highlight that India has not only provided financial support to banned organizations but has also facilitated the leaders of these groups with operational, logistical, and medical assistance within its territory.

One prominent example is **Aslam Achu**, a former leader of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), who traveled to India in 2016 under a fake identity and Afghan passport. During his stay, he met with officials from India’s intelligence agency, RAW, and was reportedly treated in a Delhi hospital. Aslam Achu was later identified as the mastermind behind the 2018 attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi. His son was also involved in a suicide bombing on Chinese engineers in Dalbandin.

The current head of the BLA, **Bashir Zeb**, is also implicated in similar activities. He visited India in 2017 under a false name, “Gul Agha,” and traveled on an Afghan passport. Bashir Zeb has been involved in several terrorist activities in Balochistan and Karachi, including the bombing of the Jaffer Express and attacks on Chinese nationals.

Additionally, **Gulzar Imam** (alias Shambay), the head of the Baloch National Army, has also confessed to receiving medical treatment and logistical support from India. According to **DG ISPR**, India is actively involved in planning and executing terrorism in Pakistan, with serving officers of the Indian military allegedly aiding in these operations.

Security officials have pointed to the existence of more than 21 terrorist training camps operated by India’s intelligence agency, RAW, primarily located in the Rajasthan region. These camps focus on training militants to sabotage projects like the **China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)**.

Recent high-profile attacks in Balochistan, such as the **August 2024** incidents in **Mastung, Kalat, Bolan, Musakhel, and Lasbela**, further solidified the claim of India’s involvement. Investigations into the **March 2025 Jaffer Express hijacking** and the **September 2023 bombing of a procession in Mastung** pointed to RAW’s active role in these attacks.

Pakistani officials, including **Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar** and **Defense Minister Khawaja Asif**, have confirmed India’s direct involvement in sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan. They stated that India provides weapons, financial support, and training to terrorist groups like the **Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)** (referred to as **Fitna-e-Khawarij**) and BLA (Fitna-e-Hindustan) to destabilize Pakistan.

**Defense analyst Rashid Qureshi** emphasized that **India’s long-standing role in fostering terrorism** in Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan, is well-documented, and the capture of **Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav** is a key piece of evidence in this regard. Qureshi noted that India’s goal is to mislead the international community into believing Pakistan is a state sponsor of terrorism, while it itself remains a source of unrest in the region.

**Balochistan’s former Chief Minister’s spokesperson, Babar Yusufzai**, also stressed that India has been involved in destabilizing Balochistan for decades, using proxy groups to carry out attacks and spread violence. He highlighted the arrests of Indian agents like **Kulbhushan Jadhav** and **Ashok Chaturvedi**, who have confessed to India’s involvement in sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan.

Babar Yusufzai further stated that the terrorist activities conducted by BLA and **Baloch Liberation Front (BLF)** prove that India continues to pursue a policy of destabilization, not only in Balochistan but across Pakistan, through its direct and indirect support to militant groups.

This new directive comes as Pakistan seeks to bring the issue of India’s state-sponsored terrorism to international attention, reinforcing the claim that **India is a rogue state** actively involved in promoting terrorism across the region.
