MPA Hidayat-ur-Rehman Meets GDA DG: Discusses Ongoing Projects and Future Development Plans for Gwadar

GWADAR:Today, **Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Gwadar, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman** held an important meeting with **Director General of Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), Saifullah Khetran** at his office. The meeting focused on a comprehensive discussion about the ongoing **development projects** under the **Gwadar Development Authority (GDA)**.

During the meeting, the **Director General** briefed MPA Gwadar about the **progress** and **quality** of the various projects being executed under GDA, with particular emphasis on the **Old Town Restoration Project**. This initiative, which is aimed at improving the city’s infrastructure, is benefiting the **local population** directly through timely and high-quality completions of various public welfare works.

MPA **Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman** expressed satisfaction over the projects, commending GDA’s efforts in enhancing the **beauty** and **basic infrastructure** of **Old Town**. He also expressed hope that the ongoing projects would reach completion soon and continue to bring tangible benefits to the local community.

The meeting also discussed the **proposed development projects** for the **2025-26 fiscal year**. Key proposals included the **expansion of drainage and sewage systems**, especially in areas where these facilities are **urgently needed**. Both officials agreed to finalize these plans and send them to the relevant authorities for **approval**.

In addition to Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman and Saifullah Khetran, the meeting was also attended by **Chief Engineer of GDA, Haji Syed Mohammad**, who contributed to the technical discussions surrounding the future development projects. The meeting concluded with a collective agreement to push forward with the proposed plans, ensuring that Gwadar continues its growth and development as a model city.
