Youth Dies at BMC Hospital Amid Alleged Negligence and Absence of Medical Staff

Quetta (News Desk): A tragic incident has been reported from Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) Hospital Quetta, where alleged negligence and absence of doctors and medical staff reportedly led to the death of a young patient.
According to the family of the deceased, the youth was brought to the hospital in critical condition, but due to the unavailability of medical staff, he did not receive timely treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
A video of the alleged absence of hospital staff, recorded by a citizen present at the scene, has gone viral on social media. The footage has sparked public outrage, with citizens demanding immediate action from higher authorities.
Following the incident, the family of the deceased expressed serious concerns over the hospital’s management and service delivery. They have urged the Government of Balochistan and the Health Department to form an inquiry committee to investigate the matter and take strict legal and disciplinary action if negligence is proven.
Social and civil society members have also stressed that ensuring timely medical care and basic health facilities in public hospitals is the responsibility of the government, warning that such negligence must be prevented in order to avoid further loss of precious human lives.
