Pakistan’s Defence Minister Sends Powerful Message to India After Operation Banyan Al-Marsous

Islamabad:In the early hours of May 10, Pakistan launched a powerful military operation, **Operation Banyan Al-Marsous**, against India in retaliation for recent border provocations. Following the successful military strikes, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif took to social media to send a strong message to India using a poignant verse from renowned poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz.

Khawaja Asif, reflecting the sentiments of Pakistan’s response, shared the following verse on his X (formerly Twitter) account: “The debt they owed upon our lives, today it has been repaid.”

Pakistan’s armed forces struck key Indian military targets, including airbases in Udhampur, Adam Pur, and Pathankot. Additionally, a cyberattack on Maharashtra’s electrical grid disrupted power supplies, while military satellites were also targeted, crippling India’s military communication systems.

Meanwhile, Pakistani drones were reported to have flown over the Indian state of Gujarat for several hours, further adding to the heightened tension between the two nations.

The military strikes come after months of escalating tensions, following India’s repeated provocations along the Line of Control. Pakistan has made it clear that it will respond decisively to any aggression, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict.
