Federal Minister Khalid Hussain Magsi Urges Dialogue, Says Protests Will Not Resolve Balochistan’s Issues

Islamabad:Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi, has emphasized that protests and sit-ins will not resolve the issues facing Balochistan. He called on protesting leaders to reconsider their stance and opt for a path of dialogue instead.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Magsi, accompanied by other leaders of the Balochistan Awami Party, stated that while politics is a continuous process, the state should not be weakened. He stressed that leaders engaging in protests should move towards discussions to resolve the ongoing issues.

Magsi extended an invitation to Sardar Akhtar Mengal to come to the negotiation table, saying, *“He is our brother, and he should think in the best interest of the people.”*

The Minister highlighted that both the provincial government and the state are taking effective measures to assert their authority and are committed to addressing the problems faced by the people. He reiterated that while political processes continue, the state will remain focused on its duties.

During the press conference, Magsi also informed that former Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani had met with Sardar Akhtar Mengal, and that he himself is in contact with Mengal. He concluded by saying that the political landscape is always changing, and given the current situation, Mengal should reconsider his decisions for the greater good of the people.
