Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin Successfully Launches First Rocket into Space
Islamabad:Blue Origin, the space exploration company founded by Amazon’s billionaire founder Jeff Bezos, has successfully launched its first rocket into space.
According to international media reports, the rocket was launched from Florida, marking a significant milestone for the company. The long-awaited space mission, which had been delayed for several years, was launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at 2:03 AM on Thursday.
The mission aims to compete with SpaceX, the aerospace company owned by Elon Musk, in the satellite business. Blue Origin stated that the rocket’s engine reached its final orbit in the second stage of the mission.
The company further mentioned that data was successfully received from the Blue Ring prototype on board, showcasing optimal performance during the launch.
