Cold Wave Continues Across Pakistan: Temperatures Drop in Multiple Cities
Islamabad:The intensity of cold weather continues to grip various parts of Pakistan, with temperatures plunging in several cities.
According to international weather websites, **Skardu** recorded a low of **-11°C**, while **Ziarat** saw temperatures dip to **-5°C**. Other areas also experienced a significant drop in temperature, with **Quetta** recording **-3°C**, and **Kalat** registering **-4°C**.
In the rest of the country, **Islamabad** and **Peshawar** recorded temperatures of **6°C**, while **Lahore** and **Karachi** experienced relatively milder cold with temperatures of **9°C** and **11°C**, respectively.
The **Pakistan Meteorological Department** has forecasted light rain in several regions, including **Kashmir**, **Gilgit-Baltistan**, **northern parts of Punjab**, **upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**, and areas like **Muree** and **Galyat**, where temperatures are expected to remain low with occasional showers.
