Islamabad: Renowned Pakistani actress Nadia Afghan has revealed that she has not received payment for several dramas she has worked on. In a recent interview, she opened up about various issues in the showbiz industry and shared her personal experiences.
Nadia disclosed that she maintains a “black book” in which she notes down the names of producers, actors, and directors with whom she no longer wishes to work. According to the actress, she has completed several full-fledged dramas where she worked as an actress but never received payment. She emphasized that she does not work with producers who have withheld her payments in the past, and she makes it clear to them that due to the non-payment of her dues, she will not collaborate with them again.
Despite these challenges, Nadia expressed gratitude for the work that continues to come her way, saying, “Rizq (sustenance) is from God, and alhamdulillah, I am still getting work.” She also mentioned that many people have been added to her “black book.”
In a lighthearted moment, Nadia shared that she often tells her husband that many of the people she used to work with are now in her “black book.” In response, her husband suggests that she could make money through a YouTube channel.
