Islamabad Airport: One and a Half Kilograms of Ice Seized from Smuggler’s Waistcoat, Suspect Arrested

Islamabad: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ASF) at Islamabad International Airport successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs abroad and arrested the suspect.
According to ASF officials, during a routine security check of passengers traveling to Doha, a suspicious bag belonging to a passenger named Muhammad Jan was flagged. Upon further inspection, ASF personnel discovered narcotics hidden inside the suspect’s waistcoat. The drugs, identified as “ice” (methamphetamine), weighed 1.332 kilograms.
The authorities seized the drugs and immediately arrested Muhammad Jan. After preliminary questioning, the suspect was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further investigation. ANF officials are continuing to question the suspect to uncover more details about the smuggling operation.
