11-Year-Old Girl Allegedly Married to 80-Year-Old Man; Investigation Launched in Dera Ghazi Khan

Dera Ghazi Khan: The district administration has launched an investigation into the alleged marriage of an 11-year-old girl to an 80-year-old man in the Phagla area of Dera Ghazi Khan.

According to officials, the matter came to light after allegations regarding the marriage of the minor surfaced, prompting immediate action by the local authorities.

Acting on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Usman Khalid, the Border Military Police conducted a raid and took an elderly man allegedly connected to the marriage into custody. Investigations are also underway against other individuals involved in the case.
