Pukhtunkhwa National Awami Party Condemns Illegal Land Grab by District Administration in Quetta

Quetta:The **Pukhtunkhwa National Awami Party (PNA)** has strongly condemned the **illegal land grab** by the **Deputy Commissioner of Quetta** and the district administration near **Bacha Khan Chowk** and the **Old Meat Market**. In a statement issued by the party, it was emphasized that the land in question belongs to the **Kasi tribe**, and the **Provincial Board of Revenue** had ruled in favor of the Kasi tribe, reaffirming their ownership. The statement further highlighted that under a 1908 agreement with the British, this land was taken from the Kasi tribe, and as per that agreement, the Kasi tribe is the rightful owner.

The party expressed outrage over the district administration’s **forceful and unlawful actions**, calling them **anti-public** and unacceptable to the people of Quetta. Despite a **stay order** issued by the court, the district administration continued to intervene illegally, which, according to the party, has no legal justification. The PNA categorically stated that the district administration cannot claim ownership of this land.

The statement also urged the **Provincial Government**, the **Secretary**, and other relevant authorities to take immediate notice of the **illegal actions** by the Deputy Commissioner and the district administration. The PNA emphasized that no one would be allowed to encroach upon **Kasi tribal lands** and vowed to stand in full support of the Kasi tribe and all other tribal communities in their protest against such **unjust and anti-public** actions.

The party concluded by making it clear that the **Kasi tribe** will not allow any unlawful encroachments on their land and will take strong action against any efforts to violate their rights.
