Pakistan’s Jahangir Khan and Jansher Khan Make History in PSA Hall of Fame
Islamabad:Legendary Pakistani squash player **Jansher Khan** has been inducted into the **Professional Squash Association (PSA) Hall of Fame**, joining the ranks of the sport’s all-time greats. Along with Jansher, **Malaysia’s Nicole David** was also inducted, marking a historic moment for squash.
Jansher Khan and Nicole David are the third and fourth players, respectively, to be honored with this distinction. Prior to them, two other legendary players, Pakistan’s **Jahangir Khan** and New Zealand’s **Susan Devoy**, were inducted into the PSA Hall of Fame. Notably, both of the male players inducted earlier were from Pakistan.
Jansher Khan, a towering figure in the world of squash, is known for his incredible achievements on the court. He won the **World Open** title a record **8 times** and claimed the **British Open** title **6 times**. Throughout his illustrious professional career, Jansher played an astounding **118 finals** and won a total of **99 titles**, a record in the sport. His dominance in the game was further cemented by his remarkable achievement of being the **World No. 1** for a record-breaking **97 months**.
Jansher’s induction into the PSA Hall of Fame is a fitting tribute to his unparalleled contribution to squash and his legendary status in the sport’s history. His remarkable achievements, along with those of fellow Pakistani **Jahangir Khan**, who remains one of the most successful players of all time, continue to inspire the next generation of squash players worldwide.
