Bushra Bibi’s Sister Raises Concerns Over Possible Abduction Amid Speculations

Islamabad:Marium Riaz Watoo, the sister of Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI’s founder Imran Khan, has raised serious concerns about the possibility that Bushra Bibi may have been forcibly abducted. In a recent statement, Marium Watoo expressed her apprehension, stating that there are conflicting reports about Bushra Bibi’s whereabouts. Some claim she has been arrested, while others suggest she may have reached Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). However, Watoo voiced her fear that her sister might have been taken against her will.

Marium Watoo further added that if Bushra Bibi were in KP and safe, she would have certainly made contact with the family. She emphasized that her sister’s usual practice was to maintain communication, and her silence had raised significant alarm.

### **Bushra Bibi’s Stance on PTI Protest**

Marium also spoke about Bushra Bibi’s earlier directive regarding the ongoing protest. According to Watoo, Bushra Bibi had clearly outlined that the authority to end the protest rests solely with Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, and that the political committee of PTI does not have the authority to make decisions about the protest’s conclusion.

Before raising her concerns about the possible abduction, Marium had previously mentioned that Bushra Bibi was still in Islamabad and had been holding strong in the face of the situation. She became visibly emotional when discussing her sister’s resolve during the ongoing political crisis.

The ongoing political tension surrounding the PTI protests, along with the uncertainty regarding Bushra Bibi’s current status, has intensified public interest and speculation about the safety and wellbeing of the former first lady.
