Khawaja Asif Should Clarify Whether the Talk of Maulana Not Getting a Share Was Said in His Presence: Senator Kamran Murtaza
ISLAMABAD, QUETTA (Daily Qudrat Quetta): Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Senator Kamran Murtaza, raising questions over Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s statement regarding Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has said that Khawaja Asif should clarify whether the talk of the Maulana not getting a share was said in his presence.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Senator Kamran Murtaza, criticising the current rulers, said that a punch remembered after four years should be struck on one’s own face. He alleged that the incompetence of the current rulers has brought the Kashmir issue to this point.
Kamran Murtaza said that the responsibility for the decisions taken during the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) era rests with the then Prime Minister and cabinet. If the matter regarding those decisions is to go to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), then the then Prime Minister and cabinet should also be held accountable.
