People Like Khawaja Asif Come and Go; They Themselves Speak Against the Army: Kamran Murtaza

ISLAMABAD (Daily Qudrat): JUI-F leader Kamran Murtaza, responding to Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s criticism of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has said that we never speak ill of institutions; some things are said idiomatically. These poor fellows are servants — they have to secure their jobs. Speaking to the media, he said: tell us, was any such demand made in his presence? Otherwise, people like Khawaja Asif come and go; they themselves speak against the army. We respect the army; it is our country, and we never speak ill of institutions. Some things are used idiomatically, but they blow them out of proportion, because they have to secure their jobs — these poor fellows are servants.

JUI-F MNA Aliya Kamran has said that she has a complaint against her leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman — why did he trust the government coalition? Speaking to a private TV channel, Aliya Kamran said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman had delivered his speech yesterday, but the atmosphere yesterday remained very cold; Khawaja Asif kept folding his hands during Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s speech. She said that it is parliamentary tradition that when a member is not present, no discussion is held on him; breaking the Constitution has become a joke for them, so how will they respect parliamentary traditions?
Aliya Kamran said that Khawaja Asif should have come yesterday and, showing courage, spoken before Maulana Sahib. Rana Sanaullah has said that Maulana Sahib did not say anything about a share. Aliya Kamran said that they have turned the country into a battlefield. You may have heard the “diesel-diesel” slogans in the past — they could not prove anything either.
She said that we have always spoken of the supremacy of the Constitution. They say that when the PDM government came, we got two-and-a-half ministries — tell us, who was running the remaining ministries at that time? Aliya Kamran said that we may support the Constitution, just as we are doing now in the case of Imran Khan and PTI.
