PPP Itself Is the Beneficiary of Governor Rule, Will Exploit Mines and Contracts for Two Months and Leave: Haleem Adil Sheikh

LAHORE – PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh has said that the PPP itself is the beneficiary of governor rule, and will exploit mines and contracts for two months before leaving. He said 33,000 billion rupees came to Sindh but Sindh was ruined in 18 years, and that everyone was positive in the negotiations but “the sultan of politics” Asif Zardari must have inserted some action or the other.
Speaking on a private TV program, he said the PPP itself is the beneficiary of governor rule and will exploit mines and contracts for two months before leaving. Much could have been improved in the negotiations if a big heart had been shown and a step forward taken. Sindh was ruined in 18 years and now the third province has also been grabbed — all this action has been inserted by “the sultan of politics,” Asif Ali Zardari.
He said there are many things they are letting remain in their hearts; much could have been better if a big heart had been shown and a step or two taken forward. The government always walks bent over, but here permission from someone or the other was needed even for a full stop. “I can say openly about the PPP that it is the beneficiary in this setup. These are technical people; they have been ruining Sindh for 18 years. The committee formed in KP may be straightening out files, but they have already inserted their action and left.”
He said expecting good from them — “we have been watching their ‘song’ in Sindh for 18 years. 33,000 billion came to Sindh and they ruined it.”
He said even today he believes that if there is any issue they are unable to search for, Mohsin Naqvi, Rana Sanaullah, Ayaz Sadiq and all were positive, but “the sultan of politics, Asif Zardari, must have inserted some action or the other.”
He said Maulana Sahib has raised his voice against governor rule and the raid on the public mandate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and “we welcome him.” Despite agreement on Imran Khan’s meeting and the transfer to Shifa Hospital, the government decided on governor rule; Ishaq Dar’s statement made it clear that the real target was Sohail Afridi’s government.
He said from April 10, 2022 to today, PTI has faced every difficulty but has not broken the people’s trust; PTI will not be eliminated by governor rule and arrests. “We will keep our workers safe and stand with the truth and the people. Undemocratic measures cause us political benefit, not loss.”
Haleem Adil said governor rule is an insult to the people and will bring financial benefit to the PPP. Terrorism is a cancer, and “we are ready to fight it as a nation.” Ishaq Dar’s statement is proof that the real target is not terrorism but Sohail Afridi and “our mandate.”
