Pakistan Railways Announces September Fares for Lahore-Rawalpindi Route

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has announced train fares for September, providing important information for passengers travelling between Lahore and Rawalpindi, one of the country’s busiest rail routes.

Several trains operate on the Lahore-Rawalpindi route, carrying thousands of passengers every day. These include 101UP Subak Raftar, 103UP Subak Kharam, 105UP Rawal Express, 107UP Islamabad Express, 13UP Awam Express, 1UP Khyber Mail, 39UP Jaffar Express, 5UP Green Line and 7UP Tezgam.

Among them, the 5UP Green Line offers a journey between Lahore and Rawalpindi in approximately four hours and 25 minutes.

The train departs from Lahore Junction at 4:10 pm and arrives at Rawalpindi Railway Station at 8:35 pm.

The Green Line offers four travel classes, including Economy Class, AC Standard, AC Business and AC Parlour.

According to the fare schedule issued by Pakistan Railways for September, the fares for travel from Lahore to Rawalpindi on the Green Line are:

Economy Class: Rs2,350
AC Standard: Rs3,800
AC Parlour: Rs4,150
AC Business: Rs4,700

For online reservations, passengers can use the RABTA application, which provides booking and payment facilities.

Passengers can also use the Track My Train application to check live train tracking, the current location of a train and updates during their journey.
