QUETTA: The Balochistan government has issued a notification granting a general relaxation in the upper age limit for government jobs, following a decision by the provincial cabinet on August 27, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) Balochistan, the maximum age limit for general candidates, including persons with disabilities and legal heirs of martyrs, has been increased to 43 years after the age relaxation.
For government employees who have completed at least two years of continuous permanent government service, the maximum age limit has been set at 50 years.
The provincial government clarified that no authority will be allowed to grant any further relaxation beyond these prescribed age limits.
