No Talks with Anti-State Elements, Says Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has ruled out negotiations with elements opposing the state, saying intelligence-based targeted operations against terrorists are continuing successfully and without interruption across the province.

In a statement, the chief minister said 12 terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan were killed during a successful operation in Dalbandin.

He said there would be no negotiations with those who take up arms against the state and shed the blood of innocent civilians.

“Those who choose the path of terrorism will be brought to their lawful end in accordance with the law,” the chief minister said.

Sarfraz Bugti, however, said the state’s doors remained open for individuals who were willing to abandon violence, surrender their weapons and live peacefully under the Constitution of Pakistan.

He reiterated that intelligence-based operations against terrorist elements would continue across Balochistan with full effectiveness and consistency.
