National Party Holds Joining Rally in Quetta; Abdul Malik Baloch Criticizes Government Over Balochistan’s Challenges

QUETTA: National Party held a public joining rally in Killi Alam Khan, Quetta, where a number of young people from the Kasi, Bareech, Sheikh, Hussaini, Kakar, and other communities announced their decision to join the party under the leadership of Abdul Hadi Kasi.
The gathering was addressed by Abdul Malik Baloch, Central Secretary General Kabir Ahmed Muhammad Shahi, Provincial President Aslam Baloch, Kulsoom Niaz Baloch, Abrar Barkat Baloch, Secretary General of BSO Pajjar, District President Haji Atta Muhammad Bangalzai, and District General Secretary Riaz Zehri.
Speaking at the event, Abdul Hadi Kasi said he and his supporters had joined the National Party because of their confidence in its leadership and political vision.
Party leaders welcomed the new members, describing their inclusion as a sign of growing public support for the party’s principles of democracy, merit, social development, and public service. They said the National Party seeks to raise political awareness and resolve public issues rather than pursue power for its own sake.
Addressing the gathering, Abdul Malik Baloch said Balochistan is facing serious challenges, including insecurity, economic hardship, and governance issues. He alleged that the current rulers have become detached from the problems facing ordinary citizens.
He also claimed that during his tenure as chief minister in 2013, public-oriented policies contributed to improved peace and stability in the province.
The party leadership further alleged that the National Party’s electoral mandate had been undermined through what they described as “Form 47” during the last general elections. They vowed to challenge such practices through public support in future elections.
The speakers also praised the performance of Kulsoom Niaz Baloch in Constituency PB-43 and urged residents to support the National Party in its efforts to address public concerns and protect citizens’ rights.
The rally was attended by party leaders, members of the Baloch Students Organization (Pajjar), workers, and people from various walks of life.
