Illegal Water Supply Tank Tragedy in Muslim Ittehad Colony: Nasrullah Zire Orders Sealing, Visits Injured at Trauma Center, Demands Citywide Action

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat):** Provincial President of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Nasrullah Khan Zire, along with party leaders Chairman Salam Khan Barech, Haji Lal Muhammad Barech, and Dr. Hayat Barech, strongly condemned the tragic incident in Muslim Ittehad Colony, where the bursting of a substandard plastic-style water tank under an illegal water supply scheme claimed the life of a young girl and injured several others. The leaders expressed deep sorrow and extended condolences to the affected families.
Nasrullah Zire and other leaders immediately visited the site to assess the situation and coordinated with senior civil and police officials. Following their intervention, the authorities took swift action against those responsible for negligence and sealed the illegal water supply scheme operating within the locality.
Subsequently, Nasrullah Zire visited the Trauma Center to check on the injured, where doctors briefed him on their condition, ongoing treatment, and the medical facilities being provided. The treatment of the injured is proceeding satisfactorily, with all necessary care being ensured, officials said. Relatives of the injured were also present during the visit.
The leaders emphasized the need for comprehensive technical inspections of all water supply schemes in the city, ensuring use of approved materials, proper registration, adherence to safety standards, and continuous monitoring. They demanded strict action against illegal and unsafe water supply systems to safeguard public lives and property and prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
Local residents and community members praised Nasrullah Zire’s timely presence at the scene, his coordination with authorities, and his visit to the injured, calling it a clear example of responsible leadership and public service.
