Iranian President Pezeshkian Says Nation Will Not Bow to Any Power Amid Peace Agreement Developments

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran will not surrender to pressure from any external power, while defending his government’s commitment to protecting national interests.
In a statement, President Pezeshkian said he considers himself accountable to the Iranian people and expressed regret over accusations of betrayal directed at those working to safeguard the country’s interests.
He stressed that targeting officials who are carrying out their legal responsibilities is unfair, adding that while criticism is a legitimate right within society, it should be exercised with decency and respect.
The Iranian president’s remarks come after the announcement of a peace agreement between the United States and Iran, a development that has drawn widespread international attention.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the two countries had reached a peace agreement aimed at reducing tensions and promoting stability in the region. According to the prime minister, the formal signing ceremony of the agreement will take place on June 19 in Switzerland.
The agreement is being viewed as a significant diplomatic breakthrough, with several countries and international organizations welcoming efforts to resolve disputes through dialogue and negotiation.
