Pashtun Nationalist Parties Express Concern Over Law and Order Situation in Province, Decide on Joint Strategy

Quetta: Pashtun nationalist and democratic political parties have expressed serious concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in the province and decided to formulate a joint strategy to address the issue.
According to details, an important meeting of Pashtun nationalist political and democratic parties was held at the residence of Awami National Party (Awami National Party) provincial president Asghar Khan Achakzai, under the chairmanship of Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party provincial president Nasrullah Khan Zere.
The meeting was attended by senior leaders including representatives of Awami National Party, National Democratic Movement (National Democratic Movement), and other allied groups.
Participants reviewed the overall political, economic, and security situation in the province and expressed deep concern over recent incidents, including violence in Harnai’s Shahrag area, the killing of political workers and civilians, injuries to several individuals, and the reported abduction of four people from Killi Mangi in District Ziarat.
The meeting strongly condemned incidents of arson on highways, attacks on transport vehicles, and rising cases of terrorism, kidnappings, and lawlessness across the province.
The participants demanded the immediate and safe recovery of the abducted individuals and reiterated full support for the legitimate demands and democratic struggle of the people of Shahrag.
They said that ensuring the protection of life and property is a constitutional responsibility of the state and government institutions, but alleged that failure to fulfill these duties has left citizens in a state of fear and insecurity.
The meeting decided to convene a broader joint meeting of all Pashtun nationalist political parties soon to develop a unified strategy for restoring peace, protecting citizens, and addressing the ongoing security challenges in the province.
