Pakistan Air Force Delegation Visits Dhaka, First-Ever Air Staff Talks Begin with Bangladesh

Islamabad (Daily Qudrat) — A high-level delegation of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has visited Bangladesh, marking the launch of the first formal “Air Staff Talks” between the two countries at the air force level.
The five-member PAF delegation is being led by Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed. The delegation arrived in Dhaka on May 10 and is on a five-day official visit. According to sources, the team traveled via Qatar Airways through Doha before reaching the Bangladeshi capital.
During the visit, discussions are underway on enhancing bilateral cooperation, sharing operational experiences, and strengthening mutual defence relations between the two air forces. Meetings are expected to take place at the headquarters of the Bangladesh Air Force as well as other military installations in Dhaka.
Security arrangements have reportedly been tightened by Bangladeshi authorities, with the delegation placed under high-level protection during their stay.
The development comes at a time when reports of internal security actions and investigations within Bangladesh’s military institutions have also been circulating.
Defense analysts believe that the visit reflects a new phase in Pakistan–Bangladesh military aviation relations, particularly amid a recent increase in engagement between the two countries.
