National Airline Expands UK Flight Operations

Karachi: The national airline has announced an expansion of its flight operations to the United Kingdom, marking a significant development in its international network.

According to airline sources, the national carrier has decided to resume flight operations to London starting in March. The airline has been allocated four weekly flight slots at a London airport.

Sources revealed that these slots had previously been given to Turkish Airlines. Due to operational restrictions, the slots were temporarily assigned to Turkish Airlines in order to keep them active.

Airline officials further stated that Heathrow Airport has been formally informed in writing about the resumption of London-bound flights from March 2026. The move is expected to enhance connectivity between Pakistan and the UK and facilitate travel for passengers on this key international route.
